You can definitely do as per the formula. Whether we apply formula or go by logic we arrive at the same answer. I have done based on logic because I opine it is easier to remember the concept/logic than to by-heart a formula. Also, institute has followed formula method only. You can go ahead with formula if you are comfortable and marks will be given for the same
