A viral photo was doing round on social media where CA Logo was used by shoes manufacturer. 

What happened?

A shoe manufacturer used logo of ICAI on its shoes. The photo went viral on social media.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ICAI's action

ICAI has sent out a legal notice to the manufactureRs. 1 crore for harming its reputation and credibility as well as for disrespecting the profession. Apart from this ICAI has also demanded an unconditional apology to be published in a leading newspaper. Copy of legal notice is reproduced below.
