Pattern of CA Foundation Question Paper

Now let’s quickly look at the pattern of the question paper.

As mentioned earlier, understanding the pattern of CA foundation question papers will give you an advantage in scoring higher marks and a better rank. 

As we know, paper 1 and paper 2 are subjective-based questions whereas paper 3 and paper 4 are objective (MCQ) based questions. Paper 3 and paper 4 will also have a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer. 

The exam duration for papers 1 & 2 is 3 hours and you will get 15 minutes of reading time before the start. It will be wise to read all the questions quickly before you start answering the questions. For papers 3 & 4, the exam duration is 2 hours each and you will not get any additional 15 minutes time to read through the paper.
